These terms of service ("Terms") apply to your use of DutchNic.com (the "Website"). By visiting or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Website on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms.

1. What is DutchNic.com

DutchNic.com is an online business directory for the Netherlands. We provide a platform where business owners can list their business and visitors can search, compare, and review businesses. DutchNic.com is not itself a party to any agreement between a visitor and a listed business.

2. Use of the Website

You may only use the Website for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. It is not permitted to:

• post false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake listings or fake reviews;
• use the Website for spam, malware, or other harmful activities;
• collect data from other users or businesses without consent (scraping);
• infringe the intellectual property rights of DutchNic.com or third parties;
• disrupt the proper functioning of the Website.

3. Business listings and user content

When you post a business listing, review, or other content ("User Content"), you remain responsible for its accuracy and lawfulness. You grant DutchNic.com a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to display, format, and distribute this content within the service. DutchNic.com reserves the right to refuse or remove content that violates these Terms, our verification policy, or our review guidelines.

4. Accuracy of information

We do our best to keep information on the Website current and correct, but we cannot guarantee that all listings, opening hours, addresses, or reviews are accurate at all times. Always verify important information (such as opening hours) directly with the business in question.

5. Intellectual property

The design, source code, logos, and other content of DutchNic.com – with the exception of User Content – are owned by DutchNic.com or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. 6. Links to other websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites, including the websites of listed businesses. DutchNic.com has no control over, and accepts no responsibility for, the content, privacy policy, or practices of these third parties.

7. Limitation of liability

DutchNic.com is provided "as is", without any warranty. To the maximum extent permitted under Dutch law, DutchNic.com is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or lost profits arising from use of the Website or reliance on the information shown on it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

8. Indemnification

You indemnify DutchNic.com against third-party claims arising from your use of the Website or breach of these Terms.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website in the event of a breach of these Terms, without prior notice, without prejudice to any other rights we may have.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer within the EU, you can also use the European ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) for online dispute resolution.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Website after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
