Business Verification Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
To keep DutchNic.com trustworthy, we check business listings in several ways. This policy explains how that verification works.
1. When creating a listing
When adding a business, we ask for basic details such as name, address, category, and contact information. Clearly incorrect, duplicate, or fabricated listings are refused or removed.
2. Verified listings
Business owners can claim and verify their listing, for example through confirmation by email or phone. A verified listing receives a badge so visitors can see that the owner has confirmed the details.
3. Spot checks
We regularly check a sample of listings for accuracy and up-to-dateness, and use visitor reports as an additional signal.
4. Incorrect or outdated information
Do you see incorrect or outdated information on a listing? Report it via our contact page. Business owners can update their own listing at any time.
5. Removal of unverified listings
Listings that cannot be verified after repeated checks, or whose business appears to no longer exist, may be removed.
